Dossena completes Liverpool move

Liverpool have completed the signing of Italian left-back Andrea Dossena from Udinese. The 26-year-old player, capped once by his country, is expected to be the new “first choice” left-back at Anfield, although Fabio Aurelio will have something to say about that.

Dossena signed a four-year deal yesterday (Friday 4th July) and is looking forward to this new chapter in his career. “Liverpool are a great team, and it is great to be linked to such a famous club. I want to play Champions League football, the Reds have already won it and they often get to the big games.”
